Sustainability and circularity are on our daily to-do list at Surgeonious®. Both within and outside the healthcare sector, we will continue to assume our social responsibility. We only work with suppliers that deliver sustainable surgical instruments, which are then incorporated into our circular system.
Surgeonious® circular services follow the R-ladder strategy as shown on the left. Strategies higher up the ladder, save more raw materials. The higher the strategy is on the R-ladder, the more circular it is.

In the long term, an investment in a high-quality instrument can be more economical than buying a cheaper alternative. Surgeonious® guarantees not only the repair of your instruments by the original manufacturers, but also a thorough check to ensure your surgical sets are 100% operational.

- Cleaning surgical instruments Polishing and recoding
- Specifically for Dufner Micasept © laparoscopic instruments: new sealing system installed by Dufner, with a 2-year guarantee (through Surgeonious®). This is for the prevention of contamination.
Our product advisor has the knowledge and expertise to assist you in purchasing sustainable instruments that stay longer in circulation. Our shipping method is also sustainable through its time-efficiency. Discarded instruments are examined together with our partner Mercy Ships and, if they are viable, given a second life. Otherwise they are converted back into raw materials by the manufacturer. The circle is thus closed.
